I've been a photographer for most of my adult life. My initiation into horse photography came during a trip to the Pryor Mountains in Wyoming several years ago. Already captivated by the horse's beauty, grace, resilience and awesome power, I began to understand the strong bonds that horses formed with one another in the wild. So it was a natural progression for me to turn my attention to the bonds and relationships that we humans formed with our beloved horses. This is after all a relationship that has endured over the history of civilization itself! Through work, sport, desire and mystery, it is that special bond between horses and those of us who love them that continues to fascinate and intrigue me.
